B’G family is composed of mother (in early 40’s) and client. BG is a 8 year old who resides in a studio apartment. The mother is the sole provider who is currently struggling to pay bills, struggling with her own mental health challenges, and just recently lost her fulltime job and now works parttime to make ends meet. The family was referred to Aviva due to client struggling at home worries when his mother was going to be able to provide food and school with emotional and separation problems from mother due to experience that involved the police. The client was separated from mother for several hours, which caused the client to become very emotional and anxious when he did not see his mother. The client is shy and is teased by his peers at school and struggles with making friends. The client enjoys playing with Legos and marbles.
