The Hall family is made up of 2 individuals living in the family household. Ms. Hall, who is 67 years old, and grandson, who is 1 year old.
The family was referred to Aviva’s RHAS/RSS program where Ms. Hall is receiving clothes and diapers. The family was referred to Aviva in October, due to Ms. Hall not having a steady income to help with grandson as she just entered retirement this year and going through the RFA process at the same time. Ms. Hall does not have family members that live close by to help out.
Since starting services at Aviva, the Hall family has demonstrated they can overcome these difficult times by having a calm mind and using what’s available to them. The Hall family loves going on evening walks in the evenings. She enjoys spending time making baby food from organic vegetables to feed grandson. Ever since she entered retirement, Ms. Hall shared that she’s enjoying every little moment with her grandson. She said it keeps her occupied and it doesn’t feel lonely in the house anymore. Now that her grandson lives with her.
